Gavin O’Connor (Warrior) recently took over directing the troubled Jane Got a Gun and will next move to the action adventure Massacre in the Himalayas following an international team of world-class mountain climbers who are intent on conquering the K2 summit in Pakistan, and are plunged into a grueling journey when attacked by a group of extremists. The story is based on the August 2013 article of the same title at “Men’s Health” by Freddie Wilkinson. A screenwriter is still being sought. [Variety]
