It obviously doesn’t pay to attempt to make any sense of what’s going on in any of the Transformers movies, but I do have to wonder why Optimus Prime would opt for a giant sword or what is apparently the “Sword of Judgment” as seen in this new poster for Transformers: Age of Extinction. I guess there is something also called a “Sentinel Shield”, but I only found that while searching around to find out what the “Sword of Judgment” is… no luck, though I didn’t look too hard.
As for Transformers: Age of Extinction, it hits theaters on June 27, now here’s that poster.
