Paramount has premiered a new Transformers: Age of Extinction trailer and poster to remind us that while the Cannes Film Festival is taking place there are still multi-million dollar blockbusters set to hit theaters… as if we could ever forget.
Directed by Transformers: Age of Extinction hits theaters on June 27 and finds humanity picking up the pieces, following the conclusion of Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Autobots and Decepticons have all but vanished from the face of the planet. However, a group of powerful, ingenious businessman and scientists attempt to learn from past Transformer incursions and push the boundaries of technology beyond what they can control – all while an ancient, powerful Transformer menace sets Earth in his crosshairs. The epic adventure and battle between good and evil, freedom and enslavement ensues.
The cast includes Mark Wahlberg, Brenton Thwaites, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles and T.J. Miller with John Goodman, Ken Watanabe and Peter Cullen making up a portion of the voice cast.
