I saw people writing up “who are the actors cast in Star Wars: Episode VII” posts yesterday, which made me wonder who exactly needed an introduction considering the only newcomer on the list was Daisy Ridley, whose most notable role was a small part in “Mr. Selfridge”, until being thrust into the spotlight as a member of the cast of what may be the biggest blockbuster to come around in years.
I can understand wondering who she is and now you can at least take a chance to get acquainted as the 2013 short film, Blue Season has been found online.
Directed by Lee Jones (who must be loving this added attention), Ridley stars in the short opposite Kenneth Jay. The film was made as a part of the Sci-Fi London 48-Hour Film Challenge. Check it out below and get to know Daisy a little better.
