Cinemax has released what they are calling a “visceral tease” for the upcoming, Steven Soderbergh-directed, 10-episode miniseries, “The Knick” starring Clive Owen.
The early 1900s-set show, features Owen as John W. Thackery a New York doctor, working at Knickerbocker Hospital. The series centers on the groundbreaking surgeons, nurses and staff, who push the bounds of medicine in a time of astonishingly high mortality rates and zero antibiotics.
The series debuts this summer and costars Andre Holland, Eve Hewson, Cara Seymour and Juliet Rylance. Watch the newest, most footage filled trailer yet directly below.
