The above new picture from Godzilla comes via Les Toiles Héroïques and is arguably one of the best shots of the monster we’ve received yet (give it a click for a larger look). It does, however, sort of give off the impression Godzilla is walking next to the boardwalk along with the rest of the people, “Hello Gov’nah, mind if I eat your city?”
I recently included Godzilla in Variety‘s data is anything to go by it’s already looking at a $60 million debut in the US once it hits theaters on May 16. Good thing considering early budget numbers place it at costing $160 million.
Directed by Gareth Edwards (Monsters), the film stars Aaron Johnson, Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, David Strathairn, Ken Watanabe and Sally Hawkins.
