Warner Bros. has been busy with the Godzilla (5/16) TV spots and I’m starting to wonder how many of these things ever actually play on television anywhere. And in addition to WB’s efforts, Sony has released an extended, international TV spot for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (5/2).
I’ve already mentioned how I’m in the bag for Godzilla and hoping/expecting great things, and I must say, as hard as I always am on the Spider-Man franchise, I’ve seen a few trailers for this new one and I have a small glimmer of hope that it could be good. Like most, however, the idea of three villains just seems like too much to me, but they have to have at least learned a little something from the follies of Spider-Man 3… right?
