2013 RopeofSilicon Box Office Challenge Champions Announced!

Actuals for the last two weekends are finally in, which means we now have our 2013 RopeofSilicon Box Office Challenge champions!

Congratulations to “rusty” who put on a surge in the late goings to take the #1 position on the Points Leaderboard with 41 points. It goes to show, steady as she goes is the way to win this race.

And congratulations are in order to “Exxdee13” who topped the Accuracy Leaderboard with an impressive 79.177% accuracy. It goes to show how important it was to create two leaderboards as it would have been a shame to only reward point totals or just accuracy totals. It also makes the competition that much more interesting.

As far as how these two competitors did on the other leaderboards it’s definitely a tale of two stories as “rusty” had a “bet big to win big” mentality, which resulted in an accuracy rating of only 32.567% whereas “Exxdee13” was able to use his impressive accuracy rating to tie for 18th place on the Points Leaderboard with 22 points.
