Disney has premiered the first trailer and poster for their upcoming sports drama Million Dollar Arm starring Jon Hamm (“Mad Men”) as once-successful sports agent JB Bernstein, who finds himself edged out by bigger, slicker competitors.
Set for release on May 16, the film is directed by Craig Gillespie (Fright Night) and co-stars Bill Paxton, Lake Bell, Suraj Sharma, Aasif Mandvi and Alan Arkin.
The story follows Bernstein and his partner Aash (Mandvi) as they have to close their business down for good if they can’t come up with something fast. The lightbulb switches on as JB is up late one night, watching cricket in India on TV, and comes up with an idea to go there and find the next baseball pitching sensation
