The first trailer for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes will arrive next Wednesday, December 18 but in the meantime Fox has released four posters for the upcoming film featuring four of the simian characters, let by Caeser (Andy Serkis).
Set 15 years after the events of 2011’s Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes will focus on a growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar, threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.
The film hits theaters on July 11, 2014 and co-stars Jason Clarke, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Judy Greer, Toby Kebbell and Enrique Murciano.
