A couple pictures from two of next year’s summer blockbusters have premiered, the one above featuring Jamie Foxx as Max Dillon in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and from what I understand, this is a look at the moment just before Foxx’s character becomes Electro, a villain that can control electricity. I can’t quite tell the specifics of the image, but if my understanding of the character is correct he is struck by lighting in the comics, which is to assume they changed that up a bit for the film.
Spider-Man 2 hits theaters on May 2, 2014.
Next we have a new picture from Fast & Furious 7 featuring Dwayne Johnson as CIA agent Luke Hobbs standing amid the fiery rubble of whatever action sequence has just taken place. Johnson tweeted the photo adding, “I didn’t bring the cavalry.. I AM the cavalry.”
Little is known of the film’s plot other than once again Vin Diesel and Paul Walker lead the returning cast with James Wan at the helm and Jason Statham joining the project as the lead antagonist and brother of the Fast & Furious 6 villain played by Luke Evans. The film hits theaters on July 11, 2014.
