There seems to be a long list of titles piling up that still need to be seen by a lot of people. Not only does this include David O. Russell‘s American Hustle, but films such as Her, The Wolf of Wall Street, Saving Mr. Banks, Out of the Furnace, Lone Survivor and even Disney’s Frozen. While many in New York and Los Angeles have many of these titles, they still haven’t reached the national press just yet and this doesn’t even include the likes of Inside Llewyn Davis, which arrives December 6 with Out of the Furnace.
Sony is just getting started with their Hustle promotion after screening six minutes of the film at the AFI Festival tribute to Russell as it still doesn’t arrive until December 13, but with awards groups getting ready to vote soon I’m sure screenings will be taking place shortly, though it has been suggested Wolf of Wall Street may not screen until after some of the early orgs have placed their votes.
