Click, click, bang! I wish I could say this new red band trailer for Homefront looked a little more unique than it does, but like this weekend’s new offering Escape Plan, it looks like another movie that’s just that one notch above “direct to video”, which means it could be a fun time at the theater, but largely forgettable.
Based on the book by Chuck Logan, Homefront focuses on a widowed ex-DEA agent (Jason Statham) who retires to a small town for the sake of his 10-year-old daughter. He didn’t choose the town well as a druglord named Gator (James Fronco) threatens the peaceful community.
