Just above is a new picture director James Wan (The Conjuring, Insidious: Chapter 2) posted on Facebook featuring a look at the Aston Martin that will be driven by Jason Statham as the “villain” in Fast & Furious 7.
I put “villain” in quotes because considering Statham is out for revenge against the gang that killed his brother (Luke Evans) I can’t necessarily say he doesn’t have reason to be upset. Granted, the likes of Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Tyrese and the rest of their merry band will be the protagonists of the piece, but I think I can find a little compassion for the thug looking for retribution.
As you already know, Fast and Furious 7 will be released on July 11, 2014 and it wouldn’t surprise me if Universal offered a first look in front of their December release 47 Ronin.
