Only minutes ago I posted a new trailer for Scott Cooper‘s Out of the Furnace (check it out directly above) and now a new trailer roles in featuring Christian Bale who stars as steel mill worker Russell Baze in the Pittsburgh-set drama.
The film follows Russell’s story as his brother Rodney (Affleck) returns home from serving time in Iraq and is lured into one of the most ruthless crime rings in the Northeast and mysteriously disappears. The police fail to crack the case, so – with nothing left to lose – Russell takes matters into his own hands, putting his life on the line to seek justice for his brother. Sometimes your battles choose you.
As I mentioned earlier, the film was recently announced as one of the Gala selections at the upcoming AFI Film Festival and will follow that up with a December 6 release. Check out the poster below.
