A batch of seven behind the scenes pictures from the set of Alfonso Cuaron‘s Gravity have come online giving you a peek at actors George Clooney and Sandra Bullock before the computers took over.
I will warn you, however, some of these pictures can be a little spoilery as they hint at the trajectory of the film’s plot. I don’t think it really matters, though, considering the film’s plot is its weakest element. Gravity is spectacle over anything else. You can read my full review right here, but here’s a snippet:
All told, the good outweighs the bad, but there are definite flaws preventing it from reaching the highest of levels from a story standpoint. The post-conversion 3D is serviceable, though I would still prefer to see it in 2D. Seeing it on the largest screen you can find, however, is a must. Gravity is as much a cinematic experience as it is a story, if not more so, and it’s one you’re going to want to seek out.
To browse the images simply click on any one of the thumbnails below to begin scrolling through and maybe these pics will give you some idea, once you see the final product, why it took from May 2011 to October 4, 2013 to get this film into theaters.
