I missed seeing Horns here at the Toronto Film Festival as it is the one film that simply had too many conflicts and I couldn’t find a way to fit it into my schedule. The word I’ve heard is mezzo-mezzo (the fact it’s over two hours long being a chief criticism) so I’m not sure how soon it will find its way stateside, but I’m still curious to check it out nonetheless.
Directed by Alexandre Aja, based on the book by Joe Hill and starring Daniel Radcliffe as a man who awakens one morning after a hard night of drinking to find horns starting to grow from his head. He’s also the lead suspect in the rape and killing of his girlfriend, but his horns give him a power that will lead him to the truth — and revenge.
Check out the clip below and please excuse the quality, it’s the highest resolution I could find.
