I actually have a small amount of interesting in seeing Getaway if only because I like Ethan Hawke, though from what I’ve seen of the trailers for this film the “voice on the other end of the line” from Jon Voight is more than a little ridiculous and the inclusion of Selena Gomez‘s character seems only to make the story a little more convoluted. Today I have a brand new trailer and 25 pictures for you to browse and see just what you think of what the film has to offer.
Set to hit theaters on August 30, Getaway centers on Brent Magna (Hawke), a burned out race car driver who is thrust into a do-or-die mission behind the wheel when his wife is kidnapped. With Brent’s only ally being a young hacker (Gomez), his one hope of saving his wife is to follow the orders of the mysterious voice (Voight) who’s watching his every move through cameras mounted on the car Brent’s driving.
