I have lost a lot of confidence in director Oliver Hirschbiegel‘s Diana as distributor eOne Entertainment has still yet to set an official U.S. release date and the film isn’t set to screen at any of the major fall film festivals. What gives?
It will begin hitting European theaters in mid-to-late September and as such a new international trailer has just arrived, offering a fuller look at the film which sees Naomi Watts step into the shoes of the Princess of Wales as the story details the last two years of Diana’s life — her campaign against land mines and her relationship with surgeon Dr Hasnat Khan (Naveen Andrews).
