Fresh off the announcement Denis Villeneuve‘s Prisoners will be featured in the 2013 Toronto Film Festival comes the first poster for the film, which stars Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal, Melissa Leo, Terrence Howard, Viola Davis, Paul Dano and Maria Bello.
The story revolves around a small-town carpenter (Jackman) whose young daughter and her best friend have been kidnapped. After the cops fail to find them, he takes the law into his own hands, but in the process runs up against Detective Loki (Gyllenhaal), a hot shot cop with confidence to burn, assigned to the case.
Following the film’s premiere in Toronto it will hit theaters on September 20.
