I apologize if it seems as if I’m rushing through today’s “What I Watched” column, but it has been a long weekend already and I need a little break. With Comic Con finally yielding some information yesterday I ended up posting ten articles on a day that was supposed to be my one and only true day off each week. Such is life, I think I’ll get over it.
As for the topic at hand, I also had a busy week at the theater where I saw Blue Jasmine and The Conjuring on Monday, Red 2 on Tuesday and R.I.P.D. on Thursday. Outside of that I watched Criterion’s Blu-ray edition of Lord of the Flies and am now digging through the special features so I can get a review online this week.
This coming week I will be interviewing Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost for The World’s End and checking out The Wolverine as I take a bit of a break next weekend starting on Thursday where posting may be a little slow on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
