Yesterday it was revealed T.J. Miller would be joining the cast of Michael Bay‘s Transformers 4 as a mechanic friend to Mark Wahlberg‘s character. Miller will likely serve as the film’s primary comedy relief as he and Wahlberg are joined by Kelsey Grammer, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci, Sophia Myles and Li Bingbing in the film which will begin shooting shortly for a June 27, 2014 release.
In addition to the latest casting, Bay and Yahoo have revealed three pictures of the cars that will be transforming into Autobots, including the redesigned Optimus Prime you see above, which Bay describes as “completely upgraded, custom-built Optimus Prime from Western Star (a subsidiary of Daimler Trucks North America).”
The two cars below are a special race-inspired C7 Corvette Stingray a $2.4 million Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse. Now word on which alien robots these cars will transform into.
