Richard Madden, or as most probably know him, Robb Stark in HBO’s “Game of Thrones” has been cast as Prince Charming in Disney’s live-action adaptation of Cinderella directed by Kenneth Branagh (Thor).
Madden joins Lily James (“Downton Abbey“) who will play the title character alongside Cate Blanchettas the wicked stepmother.
The script was written by Aline Brosh McKenna (27 Dresses) and Chris Weitz (The Golden Compass) and while an official release date has yet to be announced, a 2014 release is expected.
