MPAA Ratings for ‘Pain and Gain’, ‘Pacific Rim’, ‘R.I.P.D.’ and Many More in Today’s Bulletin

Today’s MPAA ratings bulletin has a nice little crop of updates including 7500, the latest thriller from Takashi Shimizu (The Grudge), and the animated Despicable Me 2, which recently saw footage screened at CinemaCon.

Then you have PG-13 ratings for both Baz Luhrmann‘s The Great Gatsby and another for Woody Allen‘s Blue Jasmine. Gatsby is set to open the Cannes Film Festival while Allen’s film is said not to be expected to show up, but with a rating and release date in place and so many of Allen’s recent films making an appearance on the Croisette, could we possibly see it as part of the line-up which will be announced tomorrow morning?

Next we move to another PG-13 rating for Guillermo del Toro‘s Pacific Rim and another for the Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds sci-fi actioner R.I.P.D. while Michael Bay‘s Pain and Gain, The Hangover Part III and The Kings of Summer all walk away with R ratings.
