Lionsgate will release the first trailer for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire this Sunday, April 14 at 9/8c during the 2013 MTV Movie Awards and tonight they have released a brand new image from the upcoming The Hunger Games sequel featuring Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) as she returns home to her sister Prim (Willow Shields) after she and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) return home after winning the 74th Hunger Games.
The sequel picks up following the events of the first film as Katniss and Peeta embark on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.
