I’m not particularly excited to see Kick-Ass 2 (8/16). The first one was okay (I definitely didn’t hate it) and my primary attraction to the sequel is Jim Carrey as a born-again ex-mobster named Colonel Stars and Stripes, but I look at these new posters for the film and can understand the selling point on all of them except for Aaron Taylor-Johnson‘s. With the title being Kick-Ass if you showed most people these four posters right in a row and had to help someone who had no idea who the people were based on their past work do you actually think you could get someone to say, “Oh, I know who Aaron Taylor-Johnson is! He’s that guy from ____________”?
I have my doubts.
