As I type this I’m preparing to start watching Brian De Palma’s The Fury for the first time, but I just finished watching The Outsiders, which is the April 24 installment in the RopeofSilicon Movie Club, which I hope all of you will take the time to watch before the 24th to take part in the conversation.
Seeing how it’s a Movie Club title I won’t give my opinion, though I do plan on watching the extended version next, which runs about 23 minutes longer. The 91-minute theatrical version definitely feels rushed and I can see where a lot more could fit into the narrative so I’m interested to see what it has to offer.
Otherwise, I’m still reading “The Wolf of Wall Street” and this coming week I’ll be seeing Trance, Evil Dead, Before Midnight and, most likely, Disconnect. So I have a busy week ahead of me, plus I need to get to work finishing the April Movie Wallpaper considering I had a bit of a computer malfunction and lost the entire project… don’t ask…
