Momentum has brought online the first clip from Eran Creevy‘s Welcome to the Punch, a title that suggests a little more action than this clip delivers, but it does offer a first look at James McAvoy, Andrea Riseborough, Daniel Mays and David Morrissey in the film, which will be hitting UK theaters in March and domestic theaters, courtesy of IFC, some time later this year.
The film follows Jacob Sternwood (Mark Strong), a former criminal forced to return to London from his Icelandic hideaway when his son is involved in a heist gone wrong. This gives detective Max Lewinsky (McAvoy) one last chance to catch the man he has always been after. As they face off, they start to uncover a deeper conspiracy they both need to solve in order to survive.
