New and Final Trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Django Unchained’

Today came word Quentin Tarantino has finally locked down his final edit of Django Unchained with the sound mix being finalized today as the first screenings will begin to take place next week and now the final trailer for the film has debuted.

Early word was the film was running over three hours long, but the final cut is looking to be something close to two hours and 45 minutes, which I’m sure is something no fan of Tarantino’s features will have a problem with, especially if it means you may get to have a few deleted goodies to find on the Blu-ray release down the line.

As for the film itself, it hits theaters on Christmas Day and features Jamie Foxx as the recently freed slave Django who teams with the German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Christoph Waltz) to hunt down a trio of lowlifes eventually leading them on a mission to rescue Django’s wife, Broomhilda (Kerry Washington), from the clutches of Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio), an evil plantation owner.
