It’s hard to see posters for this in the theater, especially the massive cardboard standee that’s been placed in one of Seattle’s downtown theaters and not laugh. Attempting to take the idea of fairytale siblings Hansel and Gretel seriously as blood soaked witch hunters is near impossible and the marketing material for this film isn’t helping matters.
Today we have a new international poster for Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters featuring Gemma Arterton and Jeremy Renner along with Famke Janssen in the background being all witchy and what-not.
