I have got to say, I try to find a nice screen capture from trailers when I post them to make the article a little more attractive, but this new trailer for World War Z had nothing to pull so you get the generic shot of Brad Pitt above.
World War Z is based on Max Brooks’ novel of the same name and revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself. Mireille Enos plays Gerry’s wife Karen Lane; Andre Kertesz is his comrade in arms, Segen.
The film hits theaters on June 21, 2013 and has its share of its production woes including a massive release date shift, a third act screenplay rewrite by Damon Lindelof (Prometheus, “Lost”) and an additional seven weeks of shooting. Give the trailer a watch and tell me if it was all worth it.
