I can only imagine how many of these there will be, but Empire delivers the first, as Christoph Waltz‘s Dr. King Schultz graces the first character poster for Django Unchained, which will be hitting theaters on December 25 and appears as if its marketing campaign is in full swing.
The film stars Jamie Foxx as the recently freed slave Django as he teams with the German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Waltz) to hunt down a trio of lowlifes eventually leading them on a mission to rescue Django’s wife, Broomhilda (Kerry Washington), from the clutches of Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio), an evil plantation owner.
I think we can count on Foxx, DiCaprio, Washington and probably co-stars Samuel L. Jackson and Don Johnson getting posters before all is said and done, but for now check out the first one directly below.
