UPDATE: The official version of Adele’s James Bond theme for Skyfall can now be listened to below in the official music video.
I already pre-ordered a copy of Adele’s new James Bond theme song from Skyfall through iTunes. It’s a first for me as the idea of pre-ordering a song I could just hit “Buy Now” on when I actually want to purchase it is a bit absurd in my mind, but that’s neither here nor there.
The thing about it is, I only pre-ordered it after hearing the brief 90-second snippet a couple of days ago, which was reportedly “leaked” but to think Sony Music didn’t have something to do with it is to be blind to how things are done nowadays.
Now, a nearly full (and rather bad) recording of the track has made its way online thanks to a French radio station that jumped the gun in playing the song despite the fact it won’t actually be released for another couple of hours. No harm, I don’t think anyone that actually wants to own a decent copy of the song will be listening to only this version as it isn’t anywhere near high quality and is also almost a full minute shorter than the official 4:46 minute song, but if you were on the fence as to whether you were going to buy it or not, perhaps this will help you make up your mind.
You can also preorder the song from [amazon asin=”B009KUAOH0″ text=”Amazon”] or iTunes as it will be released very shortly.
