Donald Trump is Going to Have a Field Day with Carrie’s Birth Certificate

Donald Trump and his Birther buddies are not going to like this. Yesterday, celebrating both author Stephen King and his 1974 horror creation Carrie White’s birthday, Screen Gems launched the official Facebook page for the upcoming remake adaptation of Carrie. With the launch we get a look at the titular character’s birth certificate and too say it’s a bit suspect is an understatement. I don’t expect Carrie will be running for President any time soon.

Carries birth year, father, hospital and physician are not at all visible. King turned 65-years-old and we’re told Carrie turned 17, but I’m sure Trump would question whether she was born at all based on what I see here.

As for Carrie, the film is directed by Kimberly Peirce and stars Chloe Moretz as the title character with Julianne Moore playing her deranged mother Margaret. Here’s the official synopsis:

The quiet suburb of Chamberlain, Maine is home to the deeply religious and conservative Margaret White (Moore) and her daughter Carrie (Moretz). Carrie is a sweet but meek outcast whom Margaret has sheltered from society. Gym teacher Miss Desjardin (Judy Greer) tries in vain to protect Carrie from local mean girls led by the popular and haughty Chris Hargenson (Portia Doubleday, Youth in Revolt), but only Chris’ best friend, Sue Snell (Gabriella Wilde, The Three Musketeers), regrets their actions. In an effort to make amends, Sue asks her boyfriend, high school heartthrob Tommy Ross (newcomer Ansel Elgort), to take Carrie to prom. Pushed to the limit by her peers at the dance, Carrie unleashes telekinetic havoc.

Judy Greer co-stars and the film is set to hit theaters on March 15, 2013.
