Mad Leo and Sam Jackson in New ‘Django Unchained’ TV Spot

After it first played during tonight’s BET Awards, a new 60-second TV spot for Quentin Tarantino‘s Django Unchained has arrived online with looks at some new footage from the film including a few lengthier peeks at Samuel L. Jackson in the flesh as plantation owner Calvin Candie’s (Leonardo DiCaprio) house-slave, Stephen.

Django is also set to have a showing at Comic Con next month on July 14 where it’s still unclear just who from the film will be on hand to present what is expected to be some footage from the film, but I’m sure the Hall H crowd will enjoy what they see either way.

Django Unchained is set to hit theaters on December 25 with Jamie Foxx starring as the lead character, a freed slave who teams with a bounty hunter (Christoph Waltz) to catch a trio of criminals, but his end goal is finding and rescuing Broomhilda (Kerry Washington), the wife he lost to the slave trade long ago.
