For some reason I completely forgot about Resident Evil: Retribution. Maybe that’s because I didn’t see Resident Evil: Afterlife and therefore have no real investment in the franchise any longer. Whatever the reason, it’s coming, on September 14 to be exact and today I have a couple of new pictures to share along with the Spanish poster for the upcoming fifth film in the continuing franchise.
Once again Milla Jovovich is back playing Alice as the deadly T-virus from the first film continues to eat away at the global population, turning them into flesh eating Undead.
Not seeing the last film I have no idea how she got there, but Alice wakes up in this one in the heart of the Umbrella Corporation’s clandestine operations facility and unveils more of her mysterious past as she delves further into the complex as she continues to hunt the bad guys, this time traveling to Tokyo, New York, Washington, D.C. and Moscow, culminating in a mind-blowing revelation that will force her to rethink everything that she once thought to be true.
Back once again for this adventure are Sienna Guillory, Michelle Rodriguez and Oded Fehr along with the likes of Shawn Roberts, Colin Salmon, Boris Kodjoe and Kevin Durand.
Paul W.S. Anderson once again wrote and directed the film and seeing how we’ve only had a teaser trailer so far I have to assume a new trailer is just around the corner.
