UPDATE: The trailer is now online, click here to watch it.
Tomorrow (6/6) the first trailer for Quentin Tarantino‘s Django Unchained will premiere online and in advance of said trailer “Entertainment Tonight” has brought online a preview giving you your first look at the film in motion. What is shown here, though I’m not certain all of it, I saw in context when a preview reel was screened for a small audience of journalists in Cannes last month (read my reaction to that here).
You’ll mostly get a taste for Leonardo DiCaprio‘s character here as the ET voice over essentially ruins everything, not to mention their ugly logo and “TOMORROW” needing to be branded all over it as if that will mean anything in less than 24 hours, but you take what you can nowadays.
The full trailer for Django Unchained, on top of premiering online tomorrow at 4:30 pm PST, will play in front of Prometheus this weekend where it will likely play much better than what you’ll see online. Either way, here’s a quick glimpse and be sure and stay tuned, I’ll have the full thing for you tomorrow once it arrives.
