Way back in here) and cut it together into a 26-second clip. Today, the actual clip from the film that was being shot at that time has arrived online and I present both the actual footage and my pieced together version for comparison.
The clip features Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Captain America (Chris Evans) fighting it out against Loki’s (Tom Hiddleston) army of alien invaders. The major difference you’ll notice between the two videos is that one features men in motion-capture suits, which gives you a pretty interesting look at how a scene is visualized by the filmmakers before and after a scene is shot.
As for the clip itself, well, I’m a bit confused why the slow motion at the beginning and the end seems a little rough. The music in my set video cut (which was Patrick Doyle’s score from Thor) also seemed a little more climactic compared to what was actually used. Then again, seeing a 30-second clip out of context makes it hard to judge. I’ll be seeing it soon enough, I’ll save the judgment for then.
