A clip from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 has found its way onto the YouTubes and it features an acting tour de force from Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan as she discovers she’s pregnant with Edward’s (Robert Pattinson) baby.
I do want to take this moment to say one thing about this film and its marketing. Summit’s approach has been a complete 180 from the previous installments, this time targeting female audiences alone with the soap opera details of a wedding and a pregnancy. I fully expect it to dominate at the box-office when it’s released on November 18, but I can’t help but wonder if the decision to not try at all to get male audiences interested with any werewolf or vampire action will diminish the chance of getting male eyeballs in the theater. Thoughts?
