I have Kevin reviewing the Captain America: The First Avenger Blu-ray so he’ll be chiming in on that front, but I did just receive a snazzy little nugget from the release in the form of a rather action-filled deleted scene called “The Battle at Azzano” which features Chris Evans as Steve Rogers (aka Captain America), Sebastian Stan as James “Bucky” Barnes, Derek Luke as Gabe Jones, Neal McDonough as Dum Dum Dugan and the rest of the Howling Commandos crew as they battle against HYDRA at the Battle of Azzano and get their first look at HYDRAs Cosmic Cube technology.
The effects are not finished, but this is far more than just another deleted scene as it actually includes some level of story element to it as Bucky was captured by HYDRA shortly after this.
