Yet another trailer for David Fincher‘s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo has arrived online, this time of the international variety and coming in at an even two minutes long. Couple this with yesterday’s razor blade poster and the recent four-minute domestic trailer and marketing is beginning to heat up. Yet, with that Mouth Taped Shut viral site I have a feeling the studio has something else up their sleeve.

I do have one question for you regarding this adaptation… What do you think of Rooney Mara’s look and accent? I can’t quite tell if it is working for me or if I think it looks like they tried a little too hard. What do you think?
Based on Stieg Larsson’s internationally best-selling novel, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is a murder mystery looking as far back as 40 years at the disappearance of Harriet Vanger, a scion of one of Sweden’s wealthiest families. All these years later, her aged uncle continues to seek the truth. He hires Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig), a crusading journalist recently trapped by a libel conviction, to investigate. He is aided by the pierced and tattooed punk prodigy Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara). Together they tap into a vein of unfathomable iniquity and astonishing corruption.
