A giant press release has got to be in the offing as rumors surrounding Bond 23 are running rampant with the latest coming from Twitch where they report virtually unknown French actress Bérénice Marlohe will take on the role as the latest Bond girl opposite Daniel Craig as James Bond.
Marlohe will step in where the likes of Eva Green (Casino Royale) and Olga Kurylenko (Quantum of Solace) once roamed though the specifics surrounding her character are unknown at this point. Then again, with all the rumors surrounding this film MGM and EON are either going to shock us all with one big press release announcing the start of production or simply confirm rumors that Naomie Harris will be the franchise’s new Moneypenny, Javier Bardem and Ralph Fiennes will be the film’s villains and that Noomi Rapace’s ex-husband Ola Rapace has a role in this thing somewhere.
Daniel Craig recently told Showbiz 411 he’s expecting to begin filming any day now and over at MI6-HQ they are reporting the opening scene for the film will be shot in Istanbul, Turkey.
