The East Great Falls Class of 1999 is getting back together as a fourth theatrical American Pie film will be making its way to theaters on April 6, 2012 with American Reunion and a class photo of the reunited group has just been released featuring Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, Tara Reid, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Mena Suvari, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Chris Klein and Alyson Hannigan, but the cast doesn’t stop there. Also back for another slice are Eugene Levy, Shannon Elizabeth, Jennifer Coolidge and John Cho with Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg of Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle fame directing.
The synopsis tells us these characters are headed back to East Great Falls High School for their high-school reunion and in one long-overdue weekend, they will discover what has changed, who hasn’t and that time and distance can’t break the bonds of friendship. It was summer 1999 when four small-town Michigan boys began a quest to lose their virginity. In the years that have passed, Jim (Biggs) and Michelle (Hannigan) married while Kevin (Nicholas) and Vicky (Reid) said goodbye. Oz (Klein) and Heather (Suvari) grew apart, but Finch (Thomas) still longs for Stifler’s mom (Coolidge). Now these lifelong friends have come home as adults to reminisce about — and get inspired by — the hormonal teens who launched a comedy legend.
