A poster (though it appears to be more of a banner) has debuted for George Clooney’s The Ides of March starring Ryan Gosling. The film is set to open the Venice Film Festival and will play in Toronto as well before its October 7 release.
The story takes place during the frantic last days before a heavily contested Ohio presidential primary, when an up-and-coming campaign press secretary (Gosling) finds himself involved in a political scandal that threatens to upend his candidate’s (Clooney) shot at the presidency.
Along with Clooney and Gosling, the film co-stars Philip Seymour Hoffman, Marisa Tomei, Paul Giamatti, Jeffrey Wright, Max Minghella and Evan Rachel Wood. Additionally, I have the following new image that recently arrived featuring a second look at Gosling, the first image can be seen here.
