First Look at Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth and More in ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’

Relativity may have gotten the jump on promoting their Snow White feature, but Universal is now in the game as I’ve just received four character banners promoting Snow White and the Huntsman with images featuring Kristen Stewart as Snow White, Chris Hemsworth (Thor) as the titular huntsman, Sam Claflin (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) and Charlize Theron as the evil queen.

Here’s the film’s official synopsis:

In the epic action-adventure Snow White and the Huntsman, Kristen Stewart (Twilight) plays the only person in the land fairer than the evil queen (Oscar winner Charlize Theron) who is out to destroy her. But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the young woman threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman (Chris Hemsworth, Thor) who was dispatched to kill her. Sam Claflin (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) joins the cast as the prince long enchanted by Snow White’s beauty and power.

The breathtaking new vision of the legendary tale is from Joe Roth, the producer of Alice in Wonderland, producer Sam Mercer (The Sixth Sense) and acclaimed commercial director and state-of-the-art visualist Rupert Sanders.

Snow White and the Hunstman is directed by Rupert Sanders and is set to hit theaters on June 1, 2012. Below are the three other images and you can check out slightly larger versions right here. Also, since Stewart’s image isn’t as detailed when made smaller, I included a hi-res look at just her at the bottom of this article. Just compare her look to the first look at Lily Collins as Snow White in Relativity’s film (see that here) and we are obviously looking at two drastically different movies.
