Word is Warner Bros. is going to hold off on releasing the first teaser trailer for The Dark Knight Rises until Monday, July 18. Most likely so they can ensure the story over the weekend isn’t the trailer for their 2012 film, but instead the film it’s attached to that is now likely to break The Dark Knight‘s previous opening weekend record.
Therefore, here is a bootlegged version of the teaser until the official one hits, at which time I will give it frontpage placement.
The Dark Knight Rises is the third Batman film in director Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy and will hit theaters on July 20, 2012. The cast includes Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Juno Temple, Josh Pence, Nestor Carbonell, Matthew Modine, Tom Conti, Joey King, Marion Cotillard and Liam Neeson.
