Transformers: Dark of the Moon is off to a good start with $5.5 million coming in from early Tuesday night, 3D-dedicated screenings and an additional $8 million from midnight showings, which were performed in both 2D and 3D. Pamela McKlintock at The Hollywood Reporter says Paramount has set expectations for Dark of the Moon at $155-165 million through July 4th. Previously, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen opened with roughly $200 million in its first five days.
