Thanks to Trailer Addict we have a red band trailer for one of the better comedies you’re going to see this summer, the Brit sci-fi alien invasion comedy Attack the Block, which Screen Gems has finally decided to bring to U.S. audiences on July 29 and hopefully not in a limited roll-out.
I’ve already reviewed the film in which I wrote “you could probably call it something like Goonies meets Gremlins meets Half Baked, [yet] this nevertheless feels like a wholly original product you simply don’t want to miss.” Seriously, if you had fun with Super 8, I can guarantee you’re going to have more fun with Attack the Block as the story of a gang of teenage thugs who are forced to defend their South London tower block from outer space marauders unfolds.
