I’ll be seeing Woody Allen’s latest film Midnight in Paris soon enough as it is set to open this year’s Cannes Film Festival and today comes the first trailer for the film described as a romantic comedy about a family traveling to the French capital for business. The party includes a young engaged couple forced to confront the illusion that a life different from their own is better.
The film stars a huge cast including Owen Wilson, Marion Cotillard, Rachel McAdams, Kathy Bates, Michael Sheen, Tom Hiddleston, Kurt Fuller, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, Adrien Brody, Alison Pill and Lea Seydoux.
I didn’t watch the trailer, but it looks absolutely stunning based on my quick search through to find the screen capture I used above. Sony Classics is set to release Midnight in Paris on May 20 in New York and Los Angeles following its Cannes debut.
