Ellen Page plays Boltie, the sidekick to Rainn Wilson’s The Crimson Bolt in Super and as I said in my TIFF review, “Page adds the boost Super needs about midway through and helps bring the film home.” I didn’t elaborate further in the review for fear of ruining some of the film’s better moments, but trust me when I say Wilson gets his share of laughs, but Page really does stand out in this one.
